You’re OK, I’m OK, It’s Good We Are Different

This unit is intended for first grade Social Studies and Literacy andwill look at the differences in people so that tolerance is learned.  They will learn through children’s books and using themselves as examples of how people are different. The children will learn through read aloud, drawing, and writing.  The final piece will be brainstormed, pre-written, and edited, with the result being a finished copy with illustration.
