TIP Fellows Present at Celebration of Writing & Literacy October 14, 2020 – Posted in: Uncategorized

Local educators met online for two days of learning, reflection, and joy as they shared innovative and topical curriculum ideas on the theme of “Educating for Justice in the Digital Age”! 2020 was the 19th consecutive year that the Philadelphia Writing Project hosted the Celebration of Writing and Literacy and the fourth year of The Teachers Institute’s cosponsorship of the event. The Penn Museum also joined us this year as a cosponsor and presented the culminating event, a virtual writing marathon.

Highlights of the weekend included presentations from 18 TIP Fellows and keynote speakers Professor Ebony Elizabeth Thomas from Penn GSE and Teacher Joshua Block from the Science Leadership Academy. Below are the names of the TIP Fellows who presented this weekend. Learn more about a Celebration of Writing & Literacy here: https://philwp.gse.upenn.edu/programs/teachers/celebration
